Dungeons and Dragons Online

The Turbine MMO that really started the Free-To-Play movement, and gets it right. Built upon the 3.5 edition of Dungeons and Dragons, this is a challenging and rewarding game to play. Uncommonly good physics-based melee combat combined with the classic D&D spell library makes for high fantasy that will test your twitch skills as well as your ability to build a character well.

Lord of the Rings Online

Another Free-To-Play MMO from Turbine. Drawing on the lore of Tolkein's Middle Earth, this game features stunningly beautiful and varied landscapes that are so expansive, you truly feel that you're in another world. LOTRO uses a more typical MMO combat style, making the gameplay relaxing and solo-friendly, although the challenges are there for those who want them.

SCCA's Track Night in America

SCCA, the 800-pound gorilla of amateur motorsports, started a new track event in 2015 aimed at getting street-driven cars on-track with a minimum of fuss and expense. So far, looks like a winner. They even sported for a photographer at the track, so here's a nice pile of pictures courtesy of SCCA:

Loud Pipes Risk Rights!

If you ride, do us all a favor and keep the noise to a minimum. Pipes that are too loud piss off the non-riding public, and they have more votes than we do.
